Is there help with using a refill kit for Brother ink Cartridges? I am trying to refill my ink cartridges myself and I need instructions for Brother LC51 cartridges.

Has anyone had Brother ink cartridges refilled? I have a Brother MFC 240C and need to replace the 3 color cartridges. Has anyone ever had them refilled and had luck with them working right? And does anyone else out there think that we're getting ripped off? If you have black ink and you're out of color shouldn't we be able to print in black only???

Are Brother ink cartridges LC5-7 and LC5-1 interchangeable? I got two Brother printers at home, one locally purchased (in the Philippines) and another imported from the USA (a gift from my Dad). These cartridges have a hard plastic cover (no tape) so you have to remove it to insert the cartridge. I have refillable ink tank cartridges for a Brother's Printer. I have cleaned them several times.? There is plenty of ink in the tanks. How do I clean the heads or nozzles? The black works o.k. and the blue works o.k. I don't know if the printer heads are clogged or the tank opemings are clogged.
