Legit Discount Printer Ink? What is the best deal I can get online regarding ink for my HP PSC 1315? Which sellers are reputable?

Does discount ink harm my printer? I have an Epson Photo R1800 and am interested in buying discount ink for it. Is this harmful in any way to my printer in the long run? I am a graphic design major and print quality is very important as well. Will discount inks show a significant drop in quality? By discount inks I mean inks not made by Epson.

Where can I exchange used ink printer cartridges for new ones at a discount? I know there are places where you can donate to recycle used cartridges, and to sell them for cash or credit, but what about an actual exchange? Maybe a place that sells refilled print cartridges that offers an additional discount if you bring in your old ones. By mail or delivery maybe?

PRINTER PROBLEM: Will hole at the top of my discount ink cartridge hurt my Epson? I've been buying cartridges from 123inkjets for my Epson Stylus CX5800F for the past year. No problems. They stopped using G&G and went to a noname company and a different looking cartridge. The new cartridge has an exposed hole at the top of the cartridge. The old cartridges didn't. The Epson is a lot noisier with the new cartridge. The quality of printing is the same. I got ink on my hands for the first time which worries me. If the ink got on my hands will it leak into the machine? It's an all-in-one and major money for me. I cannot afford to buy Epson cartridges. I called 123inkjets and was told the new cartridges are gravity fed. Epson cartridges are not. Is there a company that sells discounted ink cartridges that are not gravity fed? Should I be turning off my printer every day? I don't use it every day. How long should this printer last? I only use it to print text at a low volume.

The normal retail price for the black & white plus the color cartridge together is about $50, even at lower priced retailers like Best Buy and Staples. I did find an on line merchant called discountcartridge.com that sells what they claim are cartridges guaranteed to contain equivalent amounts of ink as the name brand maufacturers. I have a Dell printer Do I have to buy directly from Dellcom or can I find discount Dell Inkjet Ink Cartridge? I just dont want to pay high prices for Dell inkjet cartridges. I used to be able to find remanufactured and generic cartridges for my other printer supplies. But with Dell it seems like I am stuck with them. Any ideas?

My Crazy Printer And New Ink Tanks...HELP!!!? I have a Canon printer and the ink tanks are quite costly, so I purchased those remanufactured ink tanks that are less expensive. But when I installed the ink tanks -which are Canon tanks just refilled with ink - my printer said "ink cartridge not recognized". There is no wrong way to install them, but why - if it is a Canon ink tank, is it not taking? How can I get discounted ink that won't cause me a problem.. PS It is a Canon Pixma Series MP470.... where is the best place to buy ink cartridges at a discount price? I use a lot of ink, for home and my business, I have a HP printer that also scans and copies. Becasue I use it in my real estate business I go throught a lot of the ink, there is two cartridges one is tri color 28 and the other is black 56. On my HP I seem to always have a line or two that does not totaly come out in print, its prints - only the top have of the word prints almost like cutting the bottom have of a line right out please help in both problems, I have done all the clean, aline etc. But if I change the ink, it works, but sometimes the ink is only half gone when this starts to happen and I need to change the ink? the ink site to buy the cartridges far less themn 30 dollars a pop. Business Inkjet 1100 printer says "out of black ink", when I replace the cartridge it still won't print. Why? I have a Business Inkjet 1100 printer. It says "out of black ink", but when I replace a fresh cartridge it prints only the first line and then gives me the same message "out of black ink... replace cartridge". I know it prints because I was able to print a Configuration Page. I did the recommended steps for printer head cleaning by holding down the power button and pushing the red "X" button twice. I have an Epson CX6400 printer. Left it on for a week and now it wont print. Any ideas on how to fix it? I went out of town and left the printer on. Came back and it wont print at all. It feeds the paper and acts normal but no ink on the page. I called epson and they said something was "dried" up. They told me i would have to buy another printer and offered me a discount. How do I get my HP Photosmart C5180 printer to recognize the new ink cartridge I installed? When I ran out of yellow ink, I replaced the cartridge with a new HP cartridge and it didn't recognize it as a full cartridge. I tried another and it showed as having a very small amount of ink, which it used quickly then wanted another new one. When I took that one out, I noticed it was heavy so I shook it and I heard the ink sloshing. Because I had bought the first 2 at a discount store, I thought maybe I should try one from another store, and when I tried that one, it did the same as the first replacement. Until I figure out how to fix this, I can print in black only. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Discount Inkjet Cartridges: Any satisfied users? I have an Epson printer and cannot affort Epson ink cartridges. Can You Name A Reputable Printer Company? I bought an Epson CX6600 all in one. These crooks (YES --CROOKS!) have made a business out of extorting money from me for color cartridges even when most often all I want to do is print in B/W. When did black ink require "trace color"? It's a racket!!! Total B.S.!!! I should be able to print in B/W even though a color cartridge is empty. Also, their proprietary cartridge chip tells my computer a cartridge is out of ink well before it is. There was even a lawsuit over this issue and Epson lost, but reparations for those of us that got scuh-rewed was a discount on future Epson products. No thank you, you deep-pocketed disreputable thieves! What I want to know is: Is there a printer company that values their customers not getting raped on supplies. Do continuous ink systems (CIS) provide high-quality printing & are they reliable? I'm looking to buy a CIS for my printer for next year when I go off to university. It's 5 dollars more than buying the three color cartridges and a black but it has 80% more ink.
